Abstract:The effects of different quenching temperature, tempering temperature, holding time and cooling mode on the transverse mechanical properties of 12Cr12Mo stainless steel were studied. The results show that the influence of quenching temperature, tempering temperature, tempering time and cooling mode on the transverse mechanical properties of 12Cr12Mo stainless steel is obvious, especially on the impact work. The optimum tempering heat treatment process is the quenching temperature of 960- 970℃, the tempering temperature of 680- 690℃, and the increase of the isothermal annealing or complete annealing before the quenching and tempering to improve the impact toughness.
